Our Adoption Program is designed to provide a tangible way to engage in Reef Renewal Cayman Islands restoration efforts. Whether you adopt a coral, nursery tree, or thicket, your donation gets put directly to work restoring Cayman Islands’ reefs.
Through your adoption, you are not only advocating for this critical and diverse marine habitat but also setting an example for the entire dive community.
Adoption options

With this donation you are adopting a small coral that will grow and be cared for in one of our nurseries.
After six to nine months, once mature, your coral will be outplanted at a restoration site. After outplanting, your coral will be carefully monitored and maintained. With your adoption you’ll receive:
- Thank you letter
- Certificate of Adoption
- Digital image of a coral in the nursery

With your donation you are adopting an entire coral nursery tree with 60 coral fragments growing on it.
For the next two years, your adopted nursery tree will serve as the starting point for hundreds of corals as they grow and mature before they are outplanted at a restoration site. With your adoption you’ll receive:
- Thank you letter
- Certificate of Adoption
- Personalized Underwater Tree Tag placed on your adopted coral nursery tree
- Digital image of your adopted coral nursery tree
- Personalized, hand-crafted driftwood sign on the RRFCI Pole of Fame
- Recognition in the RRFCI Annual Report

With your donation you are adopting an outplanted coral thicket.
These outplanted corals will continue growing and restoring the shallow-water coral population of a degraded area of our reef for many years to come. Your thicket will quickly become a haven for some of your favorite small fish and invertebrates. With your adoption you’ll receive:
- Thank you letter
- Certificate of Adoption
- Personalized Underwater Thicket Tag placed on your outplanted coral thicket
- Digital image of your outplanted thicket
- Personalized, hand-crafted driftwood sign on the RRFCI Pole of Fame
- Recognition in the RRFCI Annual Report
Your Donation at Work
When you give to Reef Renewal Cayman Islands we are able to keep producing and maintaining corals in our innovative nurseries. We strive to make your gift work as hard as we do — cleaning trees, outplanting corals, and monitoring thickets. Your support makes it possible for all of us to continue actively restoring our coral reefs — helping restore coral reef ecosystems, advocating for marine wildlife, and being an integral part of preserving these aquatic treasures for future generations.
Thank you for your support!
